Lesson Number One – Starting With the Right Ingredients

One thing I know for sure, I’ll be growing a garden this year –  a big garden with lots of “home grown” vegetables and  I’ll maybe  plant a few fruit trees as well.  When you start with produce like this, everything tastes better.  We had a simple lunch of pasta and lots of beautifully roasted vegetables and it was extraordinary. No complaints about the food here in Italy.
